RS232 DB9M/F LED Link Tester with Surge Protection

8 Bi-color (red and green) LEDs indicate the logic states for respective data lines. Green for logic HIGH and red for logic LOW. Full RS232 spec compliant with LEDs for all 8 signals: DCD, RXD, TXD, DTR, DSR, RTS, CTS, RI.
Protect DB9 RS232 serial port, inhibit static and surge, prevent surge damaging devices. All 8 signals protect DCD RXD TXD DTR DSR RTS CTS RI to pin-5(GND) connects via TVS, and pin-5(GND) to DB9 metal housing connect via TVS. DB9 metal housing via DB9 cable connect to computer enclosure

No external power required. No driver required. Plug and play. Jack sockets(nuts) on the tester can be unscrewed easily(with metal shell held in place) if needed to mate with another connector that has jack sockets.
